Explore the magic of myth with the Chicago RoundTable of the Joseph Campbell Foundation. Join us for monthly events to be spiritually nourished with world mythology. Step into the myth and take a piece of the myth inside yourself. Will you find yourself transformed when you embody the story? What does each story mean for your own Hero’s Journey of personal growth? Sessions may include discussion, art-making, ritualizing, dreamwork, depth psychology, storytelling, music, movies, and other mythic arts. Awaken your imagination and step across the threshold into encounters with heroes, gods, and monsters. Will you take up the quest?

Location:
Life Force Arts Center, 3148 N. Lincoln, Chicago IL
Schedule: Doors open at 6:30 pm, Session begins at 7:00 pm,
Closing at 9:00 pm.
Cost: $5-$20 sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of
funds.
December 18: Arthur,
the Solar King
Arthur pulls the sword from the stone during the Yuletide jousting; he becomes
the king and sets his destiny in motion. What does the sword symbolize? When
have you pulled a sword from the stone and set your destiny in motion? What
are the gifts Arthur brings as a leader? What unique gifts are yours, and how
do you use them? Will you claim your destiny?

Shauna Aura
Shauna is ignited by creating epic-scale events that awaken mythic imagination,
inspire vision, and offer transformative experiences for spiritual seekers.
Through her organization Ringing Anvil, as an Earth-Centered community leader,
and through her years of experience as a designer, artist, and strategic team
leader, Shauna has produced conferences, workshops, rituals, and environments
that facilitate transformation. She is a graduate of the Diana’s Grove
leadership and ritual arts program.
